Randi Stewart is a muralist and mixed media fine artist living and working in Pittsburgh, PA. Since 2017, public art has become her passion and reason, and sheโs very eager and excited to be a resource and medium for bringing ideas to life visually!
Randi believes that public art has a power, a roaring unfiltered language, an ability to be transformative for a community and for the individuals involved in the creation and process. She believes that dedicating the time and effort into concept and design is equally as important as execution. During this process, input from a collection of sources - i.e. community, board members, town halls, environmental groups, historical references - creates the most inclusive, informative and substantial designs.
In addition to public art, Randiโs fine art studio work has a focus on the relationship between humans and nature. She uses heavy texture and natural elements to honor and memorialize trees and flora. It is her hope and goal to specialize in only nature themed murals in the near future.
